Yes, I am going to play with Letizia and the Z Band tomorrow night at Jammer’s Sports Bar. Today, Letizia will talk about maybe performing a few songs from the movie score. We are very proud of this soundtrack album which we are going to spring on the world in a couple of weeks. Brett and I received the first shipment of CDs. I’ll have some with me at Jammer’s tomorrow night. Somebody there may be the first person to purchase one. Off we go.

I spent the last two days on campus. In many ways it is invigorating. I feel that the college is getting back to normal after COVID. There is a sense of relaxed joy amongst the students. It’s work. They know they are there for a reason. A very expensive adventure. There is a sense of purpose on everyone’s face. But, the faces are smiling when they see an old professor walking across the quad.

My team is doing Founder’s Day again this year. So I will be in rehearsal soon with the Jazzuits. I’m not sure the Board of Trustees, or even the Alumni folks, have any idea how much time it takes to write, rehearse, and prepare students for this gig. It sounds like I’m griping, but I will take it as a compliment. 15 or 20 songs performed perfectly. How hard could that be? Apparently, we make it look easy.
