Where do I begin? Well, I will start with this morning’s zoom call and work backward.

At 9:30 this morning I found myself on a zoom conference call with Doug Dicconson, CEO of Theorem Media. He wanted to speak to me, Tom Honan (my personal manager), and Bill Muench, the producer/director for our film, The Artist and the Astronaut. Theorem Media is a large non-profit 501C3 film company specializing in educational documentaries. They are mapping out the release strategy for our film. The premieres around the country, then the streaming release, and finally the education tour.

We are thrilled. It’s not like hitting the lottery, but for a documentary film by two educators, it’s pretty freaking cool. Getting our film to the masses and into classrooms around the country is a daunting task. But one that Theorem happens to be really good at. So a lot of really difficult little pieces to an overwhelming puzzle are starting to fall into place.

One sentence that stood out in this morning’s meeting came from a very famous movie that Doug quoted. We hit a home run, now we just have to run the bases. I tend to agree. We have a long way to run, but our movie is spectacular. I can’t wait for you to see it. The rollout starts this weekend with the World Premiere at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival!

This afternoon I had lunch with one of my wonderful daughters. Saturday Wanny and I spent the day with my two little Hobin granddaughters. Lyra and Vega ran dear old granddad into the ground. Last weekend we married off my nephew Scott Hobin. Many of you may have seen the Youtube video of Shawn and me accompanying Scott on a song he wrote for his bride. You can see it on my personal Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=718317750

Wanny and I have been enjoying all of this family activity, including a two-week visit from our youngest with her little boy Jasper. So much fun. And the weather in Upstate New York has been divine. This morning the lake was covered with a gaggle of transient geese getting ready to launch on their journey southward. Our little band of ducks (they were very late hatching this year) was on our beach this morning enjoying the last of the greenery along the shore. My guess is that they will very soon be big and strong enough to make the journey. Fall, although not arriving on schedule will surely give way to winter before we know it.
