Christmas Concert 2018 - A Review

The Todd Hobin Band’s Rockin’ Christmas Concert is in the books. Lots of great songs and memories were made at this year’s event. First and foremost - The Dean Brothers delivered a high energy, engaging performance with top-notch vocals on many of their Christmas classics and hit tunes. They also provided rich and powerful vocals to the combined bands’ encore of a half-dozen Christmas favorites.

There was a very nice surprise when ten-year old guitar phenom Eamonn Hubert joined the band to play a couple of songs. Eamonn has a real feel for the Blues and knows how to play. You will be hearing more about this talented young man. Stay tuned.

Sharkey’s Bar and Grill provided a great atmosphere, food, and beverage, with a huge lift from our friends at Rebel Radio. And the Dinosaur Radio Team came in headed by the Caveman himself, Nick Caplan to introduce the evening and MC the RAFFLE. Speaking of which, the raffle of Todd’s One of a Kind Hand-Painted Ceramic Christmas Ornaments garnered an extra $200 for Triumph Over Stroke. That, in addition to sales of the Christmas CD and donations at the door helped to make a nice gift to this very worthwhile organization.

A big thank you to all who came and enjoyed a very special evening.
