World Premiere Wrap (and WE WON!!)
We are happy to report that the World Premiere of THE ARTIST & THE ASTRONAUT was a spectacular success. Director, Bill Muench, and composer, Todd Hobin presented the film at the Savoy Cinema in Hollywood, FL on Saturday, November 12, 2022. Gregory von Hausch, CEO of the festival, called it “a very special film,” He was quick to point out at the end of the screening that he loved a good love story. And there was a lot of love to go around as the entire audience stayed through the credits and continued through a long question-and-answer period as well. FYI, this never happens at festivals.
A two-hour reception after the screening was well attended with lots of praise for the film from the directors of the festival and the general public.
Following the reception, THE ARTIST & THE ASTRONAUT team were shuttled to a party on the beach for festival filmmakers. Gourmet food, live music, and large-screen film clips topped off a very exciting day.
